Tape in extensions are one of the most popular hair extension methods on the market. They come with pre-taped wefts made of medical-grade adhesive. A thin strip of your natural hair goes in between two strips, so your hair is essentially sandwiched in between the extensions.
The biggest advantage of tapes is that they are lightweight, virtually invisible as they lay flat to the head and blend in easily with your hair color. They are none damaging and suitable for all hair types from very fine hair to thick.
The hair extensions need to be re-taped every 6-8 weeks. This involves removing the extensions entirely from your head using an alcohol based remover and reapplying them with a new tape to the roots. With proper care you can easily re-tape them 3x.
